Last year, I started feeling frustrated by how little I was managing to accomplish in my day.
Here are 4 problems that I kept running into day in and day out..
- I didn’t get enough ‘switch off’ time in the evenings where I stepped away from technology before bed. I felt like I was glued to my phone right up to the moment I closed my eyes to sleep.
- Even though I was spending a long time in the evenings working on a laptop, I didn’t get a lot accomplished in that time. Writing a blog post would take forever because I was often tired after a long day at work and I felt easily distracted like I had ADHD or something.
- Too often, I’d sacrifice my evening runs because there was something else I “had to do” that evening.
- I was frustrated with having ideas that I couldn’t fit into my already overstuffed day.
Do you deal with any of these problems?
I constantly felt like there’s not enough time in each day, my hours after work are unproductive, but it was the only time I had to get non “day job” stuff done. It was super frustrating.
But above all else, I realized I didn’t really have time where I could just sit and think. To relax. To enjoy some much needed “me time”.
Finding time for yourself is critical, so I decided I was going to do just that. AndI did the only thing I could think of to help solve my problem – get my ass out of bed in the morning and make that time.
Even though I dreaded and hated the idea, I stuck with it. And over time, I got up earlier and earlier. Now I am up most mornings by 5am.
And I honestly LOVE it.
You’re probably thinking, “Holy sh!t, Hien’s a psycho! There’s no way I’d ever put myself through the torture of getting up at 5am everyday. I’m not that motivated.”
I know waking up at 5am is pretty extreme, but I can’t tell you how great it feels to have accomplished so much and feel like I’m attacking life when it’s still asleep with the rest of the world.
And my morning routine actually has nothing to do with feeling motivated – it has to do with my choices in life. I’ve chosen to do exactly what I love, hence, I go to sleep, and I can’t wait to get up in the morning ever single day.
My morning is my time. My “me time”.
You know what you get to do with “me time”? Anything you f*cking want. (Well, almost anything.)
Like me, you have goals, and maybe even a plan to achieve them, but you struggle to find the time to take action on those plans.
Think of your personal goals and desires – how awesome would it be to knock those out?
There’s something so rewarding when you look at your watch, see it’s 8 a.m. and you’re literally done with everything important you needed to get done for the day. Knowing that the rest of the day is the cherry on top of a sundae.
That feeling is hard to explain and hard to top. You just have to experience it for yourself.
And you can. And we want you to.
That’s why we’re issuing you a challenge – a mission, should you choose to accept it.
The challenge
Create a morning routine that seizes the day!
A beautiful morning doesn’t happen by accident. You have to work for it. You have to create it. And we’re not asking you to wake up at 5am. Just start with 5 minutes before your usual rising time. And if you’re thinking “5 minutes? That’s child play.”
Prove it. Not to us. But to yourself.
Can you wake up 5 minutes earlier than you do right now for 30 days?
Sure, 5 minutes doesn’t seem like much. But it’ll give you some time to brush your hair so you don’t wake into the office with a rat’s nest on your head.
Come experience that difference for yourself. Getting up early makes such a difference to your day. A morning routine sets the tone for the whole day, and if you do each day right, you’ll do life right.
In other words, living life to its fullest means you need a morning routine that’s on point.
Do you believe your morning needs an overhaul?
If you answered yes, then take the challenge to create a positive and productive morning routine that’ll set you up for your best possible day – and best possible life.
U up…for the challenge?
Join now and we’ll see you soon!
Hien
P.S.
We’re going to do a giveaway too! (yay free stuff!)
